We also have a special division of our club, dedicated to athletes with disadvantages. We have more than 150 athletes in 5 different sports, and some our clubs staff are members of the national commitees. The flagship of the club, is the football team, which has measured significant successes in the past in the first division of Greek football and 6 national championships in second and third division. Following is the swimming section, where our team competes with the top clubs in the country, with firsts, major records and participation of our athletes in European and world championships. The synchronized swimming team, measures 6 Hellenic championships, while the men’s water polo, handball and basketball teams have won several leagues and rises in the lower National Championships of our country. The skiing team has 2 members of the Greek national team. One of our athletes carried the Greek flag in the Winter Sports Olympiad, and our athletes have been among the best in Greece for the past years. The manager of our ski team is also a member of the national ski committee. We have organized in the past 4 years the Serres trail run and Ultra trail run. These actions started as local races but turned into international events with more than 300 participants from different countries. We aim to continue investing in them so that they become one of the biggest events in Greece and in Europe. These events take place in the mountain of Lailias that is one of the biggest tourist attractions in our area.

The vision of Panserraikos club is to promote the ‘fair play'(«ευ αγωνίζεσθαι») through the teaching of the
values of sport and continuing education of our athletes and staff. Our board members are trying to
strengthen the club’s profile, with own facilities, training infrastructure, athlete accommodation, and a new
stadium in the coming years. Our mission is to continue to be the largest multi-sport club and a leading
figure in Northern Greece. Through our teams and athletes, we strive with respect for the opponent,
uphold ethical values in society and the sports world, worthy of our achievements and expectations, of our
fans and supporters.
Our motive for this program is to look forward to teaching and promoting, in turn, actions of a wider social
dimension in the Greek region we belong to, raising awareness of our fellow citizens on important issues
related to our society through sport . In addition, the continuous training of our staff, through such
programs between countries and clubs, will develop their skills so as to provide our members with better
training as a club.
The executives responsible for these programs are Athanasios Angeioplastis and Konstantinos Gκountoulas.
Mr. Gkountoulas is the communications officer of the club with 15 years of experience. Mr. Angeioplastis
has coordinated 12 Erasmus+ projects (KA1, KA2, Erasmus+ sports) and is the project manager and contact
person of the club.
The council and with its actions to date it shows a willingness to work together to fulfill important European
programs for the benefit of its members and the community of Serres. The people running these programs
for us are executives with experience in the field and academic knowledge in the organization and
management of programs in sports, marketing, communication and school education. It is therefore up to
them to make their services available and learn from other members with experience in this process.
